About the Annual Deb Beckett Memorial 5K
    
 
The Deb Beckett Memorial 5K honors a beloved Rotary and Williston community member who served for many years as Town Clerk and Treasurer, as well as serving her country in the Vermont National Guard. The annual event takes place each Independence Day weekend as part of the festivities in the town of Williston, which is fitting as Deb had so much enthusiasm for celebrations on the 4th. Importantly, the event also serves to raise funds for crucial community grants that support home heating fuel assistance, child mentoring, reading, scholarships and more.
