World Affairs Seminar

This letter is to encourage you to make sending one or more high school student delegates to the World Affairs Seminar (WAS) one of your goals.

 

WAS is an international relations experience that is both affordable and high quality.  We employ a different topic each year as a learning platform.  This year (2016) it is "WATER: Global Resource to Share and Protect." Last year over 30 countries and cultures were represented.  During our week-long Seminar delegates explore issues, challenge one another and negotiate solutions in a positive way.

 

WAS also promotes Rotary.  Imagine a setting in which hundreds of curious, positive, intelligent high school age individuals from around the globe ask  "What is Rotary?  How can I get involved?  What if I want to visit a Rotary Club? How do I find it?"
