Peter Cassels-Brown is the founder of Mountain Energy Design in Bristol, a pioneer to this day in clean energy, with a current focus on solar and hydrogen designs. He is also an author of The Key: Reflections and Wisdom of a New England Carpenter, a book about finding the key to free us from the chains of tension, anxiety and stress to find health, prosperity and success.
So, instead of a talk on clean energy, the talk was on The Cutting Edge, the next new thing, how it gets started and how forces fighting this change tries to keep it down. A cutting edge refers to the most advanced, innovative or pioneering stage of development in a field. Peter goes back in time to the cutting edge of building immense pyramids, to the fusion of gene chromosome 2, which is the single DNA difference between humans and apes, and to today's unratified 28th Constitutional Amendment guaranteeing equal rights under the law regardless of sex, protecting men and women in employment, education and healthcare. It was an eye opening discussion and hope you had the chance to hear some possible new thoughts to start the day.
