To support the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, the club recently contributed funds to ShelterBox, a charity that provides critical disaster relief. The funds will purchase two ShelterBoxes, each containing a family-sized tent and essential items needed to begin the process of recovery.
ShelterBox was founded over 20 years ago by the Rotary Club of Helston-Lizard in Cornwall, UK and has since provided disaster relief in 98 different countries, supporting 2.5 million people to get back on their feet after hurricanes, earthquakes, conflicts, droughts, cyclones and more.
