The Williston Community Justice Center (WCJC) is committed to promoting and advancing the safety and wellbeing of our communities by providing resources for positive change, striving to dismantle patterns of racial and economic disparity, and seeking to repair damaged relationships through restorative practices tailored to meet the unique needs of impacted and responsible parties. In the course of their work, the center frequently finds the people they interact with have urgent needs that must be addressed.
Our club's final $1000 grant for the 2023-24 fiscal year will help fund the WCJC's Community Covers program that provides emergency shelter supplies such as bivy bags, sleeping bags and tents for those who are experiencing homelessness and who do not meet the state criteria for emergency shelter or housing.
