On Saturday, Sept. 6 club members Kel Bachus, Sherry Pidgeon, Dave Ericson and Nick Hardin, along with Champlain College students Hollis and Russell, joined a big crew of volunteers with nonprofit Sleep in Heavenly Peace (SHP). They sanded and branded to help make 50 beds for area children. What a rewarding experience!
As of August, the Chittenden County chapter of SHP has donated 2667 beds to local families.
