On September 21, our guest speaker was Mary Burns, president and CEO of Lund. The organization today offers 17 programs around the state providing residential services for pregnant women with drug addictions, as well as outpatient counseling. Lund works with Vermont's Dept. of Children & Families to direct families to substance use recovery services and to find new homes for children whose parents can no longer care for them. Additionally Lund operates within Vermont's women's correctional facility providing a welcoming space where mothers can spend time with their children. https://lundvt.org/
