Our speaker on Oct 9th, Luc Pomerleau, spoke about many topics. Luc started with his motto of joy, pride and sense of belonging, everything we try to accomplish in Rotary and in life. He reminded us to DO ROTARY, not go to Rotary, a distinction that Rotary is an action and way of being, not a place to just meet. Membership was the next important theme which is a top issue not only to grow, but to survive. New members share the load to accomplish our service endeavors and bring new and exciting ideas to enrich our clubs. Luc challenged us to ask people we meet if they would like to be a part of Rotary and share with them our rotary journey that provides community and self fulfilment for many of us.
