The Williston Fire Department hosted the annual 9-11 Remembrance at the station at 645 Talcott Road at 8:45am. More than 70 community members took part in the 20-30 minute event, including 13 Williston Rotary members and 20+ Fire and Police Department personel.
The community was honored to have speeches from representatives of the Williston Fire Department, the Williston Police Department's new Chief Brian LaBarge, Williston Town Manager Erik Wells and the Fire Department's Chaplain (and Rotarian) Pastor Paul Eyers. A wreath was laid at the flags outside the firehouse.
