On March 20th, 6 CVU students from the CVU Amnesty International Chapter joined our club meeting to discuss the work they are doing to change the world. Amnesty International is a global movement of more than 10 million people who are committed to creating a future where human rights are enjoyed by everyone. United by shared humanity, they know that the power to create positive change is within all of us.

The presentation was led by our own Rotary-CVU Ambassador Madelyn Morris, and these extraordinary women (Lauren Morris, Maya Girard, Annalise Wood, Maggie Connors, and Senja Erickson) highlighted the work they do and the causes they fight for. It is a refreshing reminder of the role youth takes to change the world for the better, and we can see the potential of these women as future Community Leaders and Rotarians.
