Our annual meeting and Changeover celebration took place the evening of June 19 at the Isham Farm Barn. Outgoing President Elizabeth Davidson passed the gavel to incoming President Vince Conte. The evening included the awarding of a grant of $5000 to Split the Ticket, a nonprofit that provides home heating fuel assistance to Vermonters in need.
We also welcomed two post-secondary scholarship recipients who each received $2000 toward their further education - Alexandria Montgomery and Katelyn Reagan. Alex will be studying Secondary Education and Katelyn will be studying Nursing. Both Willistonians from CVU. Best of luck to these two young ladies on their education journeys.
It was a lovely evening with music provided by local musician Thea Wren accompanied by Elena Wells on bass. Elizabeth surprised us by performing a song herself.
