Our guest speaker on August 10 was Vermont's Senator Peter Welch who spoke with us about overcoming partisanship by focusing on shared constituent concerns, his proposal for a new agency to regulate the digital sphere (social media, AI, etc.), and the importance of building back for resiliency following natural disasters such as the flooding experienced after Irene and the July 2023 storms.
