Clay Nicholson is a junior at CVU High School with a passion for engineering, education, and community. As captain of his school’s robotics team and founding member of a county-wide robotics team, he has helped lead students to success at both state and international competitions. He also works as a software engineer at Hack Club, where he helps students around the world access tools and funding for their own STEM projects. He has interned at local tech companies, including GlobalFoundries and BETA Technologies, and actively advocates for STEM education across Vermont, including through school board presentations and community outreach.
Clay attended RYLA last summer, as one of three students sponsored by our club.
