2024 Deb Beckett Memorial 5K

The storm clouds cleared and our annual Independence Day 5K honoring Deb Beckett drew an enthusiastic group of walkers and runners on the morning of July 6. The race was preceded by half-mile and one-mile kids races organized by Lauren Miles. Champ from the Lake Monsters came to cheer on our local athletes and a Town Meeting TV crew was there to capture all of the fun. Top finishers in each age group received medals and lucky raffle winners were awarded fruit pies from Adams Farm. Many thanks to Todd Goodwin from the Town of Williston Recreation and Parks Department, to Marty LeWinter for organizing the event, to the many Rotarians who volunteered, and to our generous sponsors who support this event and our club's many other community events and grants.
