RI Conference - Atlanta 2017

This year's convention was held in Atlanta, 10-14 June 2017. With the spirit of true southern hospitality, Atlanta welcomed over 30,00 attendees from all over the world.

 

 

Polio Plus update-only 6 new cases this year.  The next step is to get it to zero.  It is estimated that another $1.5 billion will be required to get to zero.  Bill Gates has pledged to match Rotary donations on a 2:1 basis up to $300 million.  Canada had pledged $50 million over 5 years but announced that another $50 million will be donated.
