District Governor Kathy Suvia

As a serial planner, Kathy draws from her career in all she does, especially Rotary. She has been a leader in the formation of collaborative leadership and community development efforts across Northern California. Since retiring Kathy has continued to serve as a consultant to a variety of non-profit boards and organizations. A lifelong learner, she earned an MBA in Nonprofit Management and Leadership while in her mid-50’s.

Kathy served as President of the Rotary Club of Mt. Shasta, Camp Venture Counselor, Assistant Governor, District Trainer and Chief of Staff prior to being selected as 5160’s District Governor for 2021-22.

Kathy holds dual citizenship in the US and UK. She and Bill, a retired highway construction inspector, have been married 44 years and have two grown sons. Bill is a member of the Rotary Club of Anderson. They enjoy cooking, skiing, hiking, and traveling together and with their grandchildren.
