Rotary Foundation - Group Study Exchange (GSE)

An Overview

The Rotary Foundation annually sponsors more than 600 Group Study Exchanges (or GSEs). Five individuals are sent by their District for approximately one month to another part of the world. Although the Team Leader is a Rotarian, its members are not. Selection criteria for team members includes individuals from 25 and 40 years of age who live or work full time in our district, who are enthusiastic about their chosen profession and who preferably are fluent in the language of their host country. Team members also may not be related to a Rotarian. A team member must be sponsored by a Rotary Club within District 7850 and only one candidate can be sponsored by a Club.
