You can Adopt a Lucky Duck by using our Donate button below or visit us at the Farmers Market in Taylor Park on Saturdays during July and August.
 
By adopting a Duck, you are contributing to the positive impact our Rotary Club is making in our community.
 
 

The net proceeds of this event are invested in our Franklin County Community.

  • Local Playgrounds (Hard’ack, Collins Perley, Swanton, Fairfield, Enosburg, Berkshire, St. Albans Bay),

  • Martha’s Kitchen, Food Shelf,
  • Hard’ack Initiatives,

Event Details

     Date: September 12, 2026
     Location: Historic Fountain, Taylor Park
 
Schedule of Fun:
  • 10:00 AM: Duck Waddle – Join us for a quacky parade around Taylor Park. Dress up in your finest “duck” attire—raincoats, hats, shirts, or whatever makes you feel ducky!
  • 10:30 AM: Lucky Duck Drawing – Cheer on Mayor Tim Smith as he draws the winners for our fabulous cash prizes totaling $3,100, with a grand prize of $1,000!

ST. ALBANS CITY — The St. Albans Rotary Club’s 6th annual Lucky Duck event went off without a hitch Saturday, Sept. 6 despite the light rain. Community spirit brightened the day, making it a success.

Led by the beloved mascot “Lucky,” the event kicked off with a lively parade through Taylor Park. The atmosphere was one of celebration as community members, Rotarians, families and friends gathered to cheer on the ducks and enjoy a day filled with fun, fundraising and fellowship.
