Rotary Youth Exchange students from our district get together to Ski

Our own Anne Silloway announced that over the March 9th through 11th weekend, exchange students from around the district will gather in Burlington for the weekend and get a chance to ski at Jay Peak.

Felipe Ewerts, Randolph's exchange student from Chile will be giving a brief presentation on Friday evening at Saint Michaels college on his reflections of the year so far and the exchange experience.

On Saturday, they all head northeast to Jay Peak to try their hand at skiing.  Many of the students have never skied before, so Dickie Drysdale took Anne up on her offer of a free pair of passes in exchnage for a bit of help with the students that need more help with their skiing.

Other exchange news:  Felipe will be moving on from the Kissell household to his new host family later in the month of March.  John and Barb Bauman are excited to have Felipe join their family, and are already well aquainted with Felipe since their son Josh has become good friends with him during the year.
