Rotary offers a Free Masters Degree Program

Do we know of any recent college graduates (or someone who will graduate in 2008) that would like to pursue an all expense paid Masters Degree?

 

Rotary International is looking for 60 quailified applicants for the Rotary World Peace Fellowship Degree program.  Our District may submit one applicant from the US and one from Canada.  Deadline is 24 August 2007. Applicants must be non-Rotarians and not related to any Rotarian.  These are the qualified Universities:

  • International Christian University , Tokyo, Japan
  • University of Queensland, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
  • University of Bradford, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England
  • Sciences Po, Paris, France
  • Duke University and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA
  • University of California-Berkeley, California, USA
  • Universidad del Salvador, Buenos Aires, Argentina

Efforts to achieve national and international peace continue to be thwarted by war, famine, poverty, and disease around the world. The Rotary Centers for International Studies program is a major educational priority of the Rotary Foundation and a bold and critical step in the Foundation's commitment to world peace, goodwill, and understanding. The Rotary Centers will provide future leaders with opportunities to study the root causes of conflict, theories of international relations, and effective models of cooperation. Beyond academics, Rotary Scholars will gain practical tools in conflict resolution for use in their chosen careers.  If you know of any potential applicant please contact me (Sonny Holt.)
