Jean Brown of The Friend of the Norris Cotton Cancer Center Spoke at the
February 1st meeting about Cancer research.
The focus was on the incredible work done right here in our own backyard by
the over 150 Cancer researchers at the Norris Cotton Cancer Center in Hanover,
NH.
Jean Brown, the executive Director of the "Friends" gave a presentation of the work done at the center and how it feeds upward into the larger, worldwide, fight against cancer. What's really cool is that so much is being done right here.
Jean also spoke about the #1 fundraiser for the center, which is a Bike ride and Fitness walk each July. The 26th annual Prouty Century Ride and fitness walk is hoping to raise 1,500,000 this year. It's only possible with a little bit of help from everybody.
