ROCK helps infants, children, teens and adults achieve better mental health functioning through:
* early assessment and diagnosis
* effective, innovative treatment and therapy
* prevention and early intervention for those at risk of developing mental problems or mental illness.

Mental health problems are the leading health issue that Canadian children face after infancy. One in five children suffer from a mental health disorder severe enough to cause some level of impairment through to and inclusive of their adult years. Left untreated, the costs to our society are immense. It is estimated that up to $30 billion is lost to the Canadian economy annually due to mental health and addiction problems. In Ontario the cost to Federal and Provincial Governments for youth who drop out of school early due to mental health issues is $1.9 billion a year alone. Across the province 70,000 children and their families are waiting for service. That number has tripled in the past 10 years.

In partnership with Rotary, we have two objectives:
* The first is to raise awareness of the challenges facing Children's Mental Health Services and have you learn more about ROCK
* The second is to raise funds to help us end the wait list for services at ROCK. At last count there are 718 children waiting for services and that wait ranges from 90 to 365 days depending on the service need.
