2008 Partnership Golf Tournament

Asking for your support through a contribution of a bottle of wine (from one of the wineries attending Lakeside à la Carte) or a dozen golf balls to help us stock the wine fridge raffle prize and the door prize table. Your support in the past has made this a real premier golf event in the area and we thank you for your anticipated participation again in 2008.

To All Burlington Central Rotarians:
 
As you are no doubt aware the Annual Partnership Golf Tournament is just around the corner on Thursday July 17, 2008 at Crosswinds Golf Course in Burlington. Again this year this event has attracted a sell out draw of 144 golfers, to support the work of this year's charity partner - the Halton Learning Foundation.
 
In the past few years we have come to the Membership to help us with the prize table and would ask that you consider bringing a bottle of wine and/or a dozen golf balls to our next meeting on the morning meeting of the 17th as YOUR donation to the event and to help us stock the wine fridge we raffle off and the door prize table for later that evening. Your support in the past has made this a real premier golf event in the area and we thank you for your anticipated participation again in 2008.

 

If you are bringing a bottle of wine, we suggest that you support the wineries attending this year's Lakeside à la Carte: Angels Gate Winery, Cave Spring Cellars, Château des Charmes, Colio Wines, Coyote's Run Estate Winery, Joseph's Estate Wines, Kacaba Vineyards, Konzelmann Estate Winery, Lailey Vineyard, Mountain Road Wine Company, Palatine Hills Estate Winery, Peninsula Ridge Estates Winery, Reif Winery, Rockway Glen Estate Winery, Strewn Winery, Vineland Estates Winery, Wayne Gretzky Estates Winery, Diamond Estates Wines & Spirits (East Dell, Dan Aykroyd, Lakeview).
 
Along the same lines, the "2009 Masters Trip for Two Draw" is still a very hot ticket, but we just haven't as yet sold as many tickets as we did last year, so we have put the draw date ahead to Lakeside à la Carte on August 10, 2008 from July 17, 2008 and that gives a chance to really push a sell out of 1,000 tickets.  Many of our members have yet to take a book of tickets to sell and we encourage you to do so and E mail your friends with this special offer and you will be surprised what success you have and how easy it is to sell this draw. Get your supply of tickets from Ron Lambert, Nancy Brewer or Rick Howarth (home delivery available).
