As a symbol of the pledge to eradicate polio world-wide, On October 27th 2022, The end polio now flag raising ceremony was organized by District 7080 Polio Chair Rtn. Badar Shamim, at the City Hall Brampton. The members of Rotary Club Brampton south in partnership with four other Rotary and a Rotaract club of Brampton Cluster were participants. In addition to Rotarians the event was attended by Member of Parliament for Brampton Centre, Shafqat Ali, Mayor Allan Thompson of Town of Caledon and City Councilors Rowena Santos and Dennis Keenan.
