In most Rotary clubs, CLUB SERVICE AND ADMINISTRATION is the backbone of Rotary Operations. Club Service is the hub of the club wheel and is the smooth functioning of this part of a Rotary club that moves the club forward.

 

Much of the administrative responsibilities fall to various committees, including:

 

  • BLESSING COMMITTEE Members provide an interfaith message at the beginning of our meetings from inspirational, motivational and religious sources.

  • BULLETIN COMMITTEE The Bulletin Committee prepares the weekly bulletin to notify members of meeting duties, upcoming program(s), club announcements etc.

  • CLUB HISTORY COMMITTEE This committee records and maintains significant activities of the club both written and photographic.

  • CONSTITUTION & BY-LAWS COMMITTEE Members are responsible for distributing the club constitution and by-laws and revising as deemed appropriate

  • FINANCE COMMITTEE The Finance Committee reviews the finances and budget of the club.

  • HONOR GUARD COMMITTEE Members participate in grave-side/memorial recognition of deceased Rotarians.

  • MUSIC COMMITTEE This committee arranges for appropriate music at meetings and selected functions of the club.

  • PROGRAM COMMITTEE The Program Committee meets monthly and arranges for speakers at weekly club meetings and ascertains members' interests.

  • PUBLIC RELATIONS COMMITTEE The Public Relations Committee prepares press releases and club communications regarding events, donations etc.

  • ROTARY STORE COMMITTEE This committee maintains, displays and sells Rotary-related items for sale to the club membership at weekly meetings/lunches.

  • WEBSITE COMMITTEE Maintain the Club's website. The committee's activities include managing and updating the content of the website including photos, copy/content on each subpage, etc
