Weekly Meeting: COVID-19 Update

Booster shots for all three of the vaccines for COVID-19 are now available while Federal, state and local health officials are still encouraging people to get their first vaccinations. A new variant of the cornoavirus, Delta Plus, is spreading across the United Kingdom and is making a presence in the United States. And, the CDC's recommendation that everyone 12 years and older should get a COVID-19 vaccination to help protect against COVID-19 may soon include younger kids.
This Wednesday, Wouter Rietsema, MD, Vice President, Population Health & Information Services at The University of Vermont Health Network - Champlain Valley Physicians Hospital, will update us on these things along with the latest COVID-19 impact on Clinton County.

The Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh has decided that the weekly meeting will return to virtual broadcast via Zoom for the next several weeks due to increasing cases of COVID-19 in Clinton County.
