Weekly Meeting: Arto Monaco Exhibit at the Clinton County Historical Museum

Arto Monaco built the Land of MakeBelieve in Upper Jay. He also made tiny objects like the fleets of Benedict Arnold and Thomas Macdonough. The Clinton County Historical Association has a diorama in its museum depicting the Battle of Valcour and the Battle Plattsburgh.

Plattsburgh Rotarian and historical assocation exhibit coordinator Carold Arnold will this Wednesday speak about the collection's diorama and other items made by Arto Monaco.

The Board of Directors of the Rotary Club of Plattsburgh has decided that the weekly meeting will return to virtual broadcast via Zoom for the next several weeks due to increasing cases of COVID-19 in Clinton County. The board will review its decision on a weekly basis whether to continue broadcasting based on the COVID-19 situation locally and statewide. Rotarians from other clubs may attend, but must adhere to the same guidelines listed above including registering and selecting lunch ahead of time. If you would like to participate via ZOOM, please send an email to the Plattburgh Club Secretary  by 9 a.m. Wednesday morning requesting access. Please include your name, email, and Rotary club you regularly attend in your request to attend.
