We have until March 31 to raise $20,000 for the Peel Children’s Aid Founation “Skills for Success” mentoring and tutoring program.
You will have to open an account to participate but this is easy. Payments are made through PayPal.
Rock Farm Maple Syrup is on sale at the same website. This is traditional maple syrup made the “old fashioned” way by boiling sap for days. The result is a dark syrup that you can enjoy on pancakes, marinade, ice cream topping or cooking. A wonderful healthier substitute for sugar. There are I litre bottles for $30, and ½ litre for $20. We have a limited supply of 50 of each size. This will be available in April from Mocon Nurseries but must be ordered in advance on the website.We need items for the auction – suitable gift items or useful appliances, etc. Please take a photo of your item, and email to Carole Berry at caroleberry8@hotmail.com Include a description of the item and value to include in the listing on- line. You will be added as a donor.
Sponsorships are $1000 for a banner ad, and $250 for a general ad. No tax receipt issued. If you wish a tax receipt for a donation, this is also possible through the website.
Go ask for help. Use the guidelines sent by Stephanie. We will forward another copy of the “ask” letter and write up on the Skills for Success program. I print out a few copies and keep with me at all times in case there Is an opportunity. It works!
Youth are suffering. CBC had a heart-rendering program yesterday at noon. Here is the link to see why we are so passionate about this project.
