PODing along

In September we gave the new POD system a try. Each club member is assigned to a POD and each POD to a month on the calendar. The POD is responsible for co-coordinating Sergeant-at-Arms, attendance and greeting, the Spinner and the weekly program.

October POD Chair Norm thanked the September POD of Wendell, Lois, Tim, Jack, Amolak and Mark for creating 'a hard act to follow'.

He also thanked his POD of Jerome, Khaled and Johnny Sudden Death Sudnikowicz for making it easier than expected.

Now it is November. We expect great things from Chairman Sheila, Roy, Adrian, Malcolm, and Bino. Bino, your meals don't count; the POD will be judged on other factors. Their program looks exciting, Jockey Sandy Hawley one week;and Medicins Sans Frontieres the next. They can not take credit for Remembrance Day.

We anticipate a brilliant December under Chair Al Heaney as we 'just keep PODing along'.
