All businesses are a collection of systems and Human Resources is one of them. Every business is unique and multi-faceted. Therefore, it only makes sense that the Human resource Consultant works to reflect and support the company’s vision. Leona’s goal is to improve or develop initiatives that will ensure the HR infrastructure, standards and systems in place will do that exceptionally well in a way that meets the needs of the business and meets compliance requirements.

Common client profiles:

2 to 10 employees
Situational, episodic needs; compliance issues

10 to 50 employees
Systems approach likely is appropriate; compliance needs escalate

50 plus employees
Minimal training or junior HR on staff needs support
Implement systems or correct deficiencies; compliance issues will be present

When you go into a company, the HR Consultant should look at new employees or employees with experience. There are different issues with companies that have a lot of long-term employees. You have to have courage to push up against boundaries.
