President Dittie – Regeneration -  running alow on cash so we have adjusted the donations to deal more with food, less diapers. There will be a Halloween event at Regen, they have borrowed our tent for the event. President Dittie will be going over to Regen later with a produce drop off and has called for volunteers to help out at Regen. Anyone that would like to volunteer may contact president Dittie
 
John Mullen – Christmas party committee met and will be organizing a socially distant children’s party at the Rotary Glen.  President augmented the update by asking for donation of time and support
 
Steve Robinson – Legacy and long term fund – The fund at the end of Sep is over 3.5 m even with spending and inflation it has grown by 196k.  The allocation 62% stock and the rest cash and bonds. The annual rate is about has been about 7% per year to date despite the pandemic we are up about 10%.   The forecast is that we are pretty good shape with the Legacy fund. The investment mix is between Canada and the US.
 
Uche Okugo – Polio update – Africa declared Poli free, world Polo day will be online this year on Oct 24th . This is being organized by the District. The district will do a Facebook campaign to drive contribution from non Rotarians, if  successfull then this type of campaign could serve as a new fundraising model for the district
 
80th Anniversary is being postponed 
 
Santa Claus Parade – Will be virtual this year, club is asking that information be shared on Face Book and twitter
 
Board is doing the Hams and Turkey nations this year – Norm Binden will have the update on that
 
Remembrance Day – John Sanderson will have the update. The club will observe the day, the celebrations will be altered because of COVID stay tuned
 
Ribfest – Mississauga – They had a drive by format, President Dittie and Secretary Rita went to observe the event, it was quite successful, the cars formed a line up and paid a levy to go through the process. Suffice to say President Dittie and Secretary Rita though that the even was amazing and the event is something we should try
