Tasha Chin is the founder of SparkThat and Whimsical Womxn. She transforms conversations among community stakeholders to assist in action and to stimulate positive change in society.
She sparks a cascade of moments that align with her core values, such as empathy and respect for others. Tasha leverages her 16-year career in corporate finance and a degree from York University in Business and Society, where she focused on alternative development through learning about the Social Economy and Corporate Social Responsibility. She is currently pursuing her UX/UI design certification at the University of Toronto, in hopes to continue to empower uncomfortable, diverse, and inclusive conversations, to humanize how we relate to one another. She is the program coordinator at Roots Community Services and sits on many tables such as The Jane and Finch Centre, The Urban Economy, and Quell.
