2025 Black History Month Celebration

The Rotary Club of Brampton celebrated Black History Month on Monday, February 3rd, 2025. The evening was magical. We hosted two talented singers and an amazing dancer and the entertainment was beautiful and very moving. We were excited to hear Colin Lynch, Managing Director and Head of Alternative Investments at TD speak. He spoke about the allies who guided and mentored him across his life and career, the importance of active engagement and collaboration to lift up the community, and recognizing that times of great difficulty and challenge are an opportunity. It was a memorable evening!

Peace Presentation and Cheque Presentation
On February 10, 2025, we were pleased to have Ted Brown and Katie Cleland from Regeneration Outreach Community join us. We presented a cheque to Regeneration.

Past President Badar delivered a presentation on peace to the members. It provided a framework for transformation, change and hope in this world.

Coldest Night of the Year 2025

The community came out and there was a great deal of energy and spirit, thanks to the dedicated volunteers. On Saturday, February 22nd 2025, the Rotary Club of Brampton joined 74 teams for the Coldest Night of the Year. We had great support for our walk to raise funds for Regeneration Outreach Community. Community members such as Rotaract Club of Algoma University Student Union and others joined us. Thanks to all who were involved.

If you missed it, hope you can join us next year!
