Luisa Mocon – Introduces the exchange student from France – Ethan, representing the Brampton club for the year 2020
Ethan: Spent his school year in Lile France – Well done presentation with slides and a vivid description of his school. He had the support of the local Rotary club, he described the beauty of the meeting location, shared pictures of his 3 host families. 33 exchange students from all over the world in his Rotary district, the Rotary club took them all over, so he had quite a few trips, the Rotary group took him across all the popular sites and he was also able to explore further with his HOST families. He was very impressed with Mont Saint-Michel more than 120 exchange students were involved on that trip, so Ethan made a lot of connection. He had the opportunity to meet people from different hemisphere. He had the opportunity to visit Portugal with his host family and shared some pictures and memories from that trip. First host dad took him hunting.
He had 2 trips to Paris France shared pictures of all this sights, Kasersberg – border town France \ Germany, the alps, the second Family took him Brussels Belgium. All the trips were wonderfully annotated with pictures.
Norm Binden thanked the speaker and in his thanks communicated that he had the opportunity to keep track of Ethan because he contributed to Beaver Tails, and he invited all the club members to check out the district site and get details of Ethan’s trips.
Ethan closed by presenting the club with 3 gifts from some of the districts he visited in France!
