Our Inbound Exchange student "Jennifer" from Taiwan gave us a short summary about her family and her home in Taiwan which is about 4 hours from the capitol of Taipei. Some of the highlights she mentioned: School at home is from 7:30 to 5:00 . She participates in the Guitar Club at school. Food is not expensive to buy. One drink many enjoy is Bubble Tea. One celebration is The Moon Festival, and on December 31st they have fireworks. In Taiwan most people drive scooters. In Canada she is attending St. Roch Catholic Secondary School and living with the Mocon family, where she takes the bus to get to school. Jennifer is fascinated by museums and spent a whole afternoon at PAMA in downtown Brampton during the previous weekend.
