ImageGoodbye Fremon, welcome Tessa

Our New Zealand international student returned home last weekend, loaded with Canadiana.  He thoroughly enjoyed his exchange and was saddened to leave his Rotary friends – yet anxious to get home to family.  At our next meeting, be sure to sign his flag before it is mailed to him next week.

Having said goodbye to one exchange student from “down under,” the welcome mat rolls out soon to Tessa Fitzgerald, who arrives from Australia on January 18th.  Coming from Victoria, she has been experiencing the heat wave with temperatures around 40C.  Camp Wanakita in Haliburton will be a truly Canadian first for this adventurous young woman.  Please think of ways to share opportunities to get to know us and our community and schedule a time to get to involve her.
