Youth development opportunities

Carole  Berry announced two opportunities being supported by our club.  Adventures in Citizenship is a 4 day orientation to Ottawa, Parliament and National Museum organized by the Rotary Club of Ottawa.  RC Brampton will apply to sponsor one youth (age 16-19) for program to be held May 3-6. For more information www.rotaryottawa.com   If our application is accepted, we will interview interested students in early 2009. 

District 7080 RYLA  will be held May 3-9, 2009.  Info at www.rotary7080.org.   Our club will sponsor two youth 18-24 years of age.  Children of Rotarians are eligible.  Focus in on personal development, leadership skills, planning and ethics.  Identify any potential candidates to Carole Berry.
