World Polio Day

Two events are planned to raise awareness (and funds) for World Polio Day. Our club will have a table at City Hall, on Saturday, October 12 in the morning. This is the last day of the Farmer’s Market so will be a busy scene.We will be selling End Polio Now stickers for $1 donation, and selling pins for $5. I have a coin collector also for kids to encourage their parents to donate. Please let me know if you can come out for a couple of hours between 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A volunteer or two can assist with distribution of World Polio Day at the downtown Brampton GO station on October 14 from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. Any early risers out there? We cannot solicit funds – so this is awareness raising only.
