By all accounts, Tuesday's Wine Night was a tremendous success. Nearly 65 people turned out on the night the Toronto Maple Leafs defeated the Ottawa Senators in Game seven of Stanley Cup playoffs.
That says something for the quality of Rotary fellowship or a general disinterest in a mediocre hockey team that hasn't won in 34 years.
Many thanks to Trilogy Wine Merchants - Georgy Fourcroy of Chateau Franc Mayne in Bordeux and Charles Jewett, a top Toronto wine consultant, for sparkling an inciteful commentary. And many thanks to Bino for a wonderfully complimentary meal.
