Warren reclassified

Warren provided some insight into changes in his life since his first classification speech in 1988.

His family originated from England. His parents lived near Hamilton, then Vancouver and later moved back to Port Credit.

Warren joined the workforce with Moore Inc. following a job interview on crutches. He was immediately sent to Chicago for training. He enjoyed the stock market as a hobby and that led to a job with Scotia McLeod in 1988, when they opened a new branch in Brampton.

Peter Montgomery suggested Warren join Rotary. He says his first meeting was the worst ever. The speaker, a custom's expert, "took out the manual and read the rules."  The meetings apparently got better.

Warren has been an active participant in Junior Achievement. He has volunteered to work with young people for the past 15 years. His approach to teaching is innovative and motivational. He still teaches current topics to young people.

In 2001, Warren was employed with Thompson Kernahan Brokerage firm. He now works for RBC.
