Virtual Rib Fest was amazing. This event was put together in a couple of months and it turned out to be a huge success. John Digby thanked all volunteers, a big shout out to Scott Ching, Bill Charles, Steve Rhodes, and Manjot Brar for setting up the sites and many family and friends. It was an incredible event.Scott reported that out of 140+ orders, only one had to be refunded. We made net revenue of $7,775, all expenses covered. On the entertainment side, 692 were viewed on Face book, 182 on YouTube and we generated 202 new Likes on Facebook.
We had lots of help from lots of places, including other Rotary Clubs, Zonta and RBC staff and it was incredibly moving to see all the cars and enthusiasm of everyone. The Virtual Rib N Roll site will be kept open for anyone who wants to make donations. The show will be on Facebook and YouTube for a year.
