Today is last day for Food Drive

Each spring the food banks reserves are low.  The Salvation Army acts as  collection/distribution for many neighbourhood banks so they can assist the growing numbers of families and children who need food.  (Apparently 3% of our population in Ontario are forced to turn to food banks each month).   Our Interact Clubs are being challenged to compete in a contest to collect food and create a construction with the items.  Rotarians in our club are also invited to bring food contributions each Monday to the meeting up to Easter.  Today is the last day. We will have a collection box on hand for your contributions.    Carole Berry- Director, New Generations.
