There's value in your stamps

The Christmas season is almost here – and so I send this simple request to each of our members.  Please save your used postage stamps from all your mail, including the special Christmas issue stamps and bring to me at a club meeting.  I send these stamps to The Leprosy Mission and they are then resold to stamp dealers.  The funds generated are used for multi-drug medicine treatment programs administered at clinics by the Leprosy Mission in Nepal, India and Africa.  The special issue Christmas stamps are particularly desirable and bring a higher price.   So when you open your festive season greeting cards, remove the stamps and know that they translate into a permanent cure.
