The piper returns

Old acquaintances were not forgot when Dr. Dave McDougal greeted old friends and piped in the Haggis. Paul Federico showed us where his son, Chris, inherited his style as he delivered a rousing address to the Haggis.

Proud Rotarians Bob MacIntyre MC'd the event and proposed the toast to "Old Scotia and absent friends" while Jerome Dawson provided a short history of the life of Robbie Burns.

We all ended up toasting the Haggis, some of us with water, some with wine, and some with the Glen Fiddich that graced the head table.

Sarah Ryan accompanied us as we sang Auld Lang Syne at the end of the event, with Dr. Dave continuing his practice on the pipes. A good time was had by all.
