Tanisha on Brazil

Tanisha went to Brazil for the 2008-2009 exchange. She spoke about the application process she went through in order to be selected for this program and her three host families. While in Brazil she made lots of life long friends and even managed to learn Portuguese. She was able to travel for 30 days along the coast of Brazil in a bus of other Rotary exchange students and was able to make friends across the world. She said she would never forget her experience in Brazil and felt that it allowed her to mature and understand how hard it is for immigrants coming to Canada to adjust to a new culture, life and language.
