Syd has valuable message

District Governor Syd Harmon was our guest speaker last week and he talked about this year's Rotary International theme of "Lead the Way"
He distinguished between whether someone was in Rotary, or Rotary was in them. He recognized Paul Peters for 52 years of service in Rotary, and Norm Bindon for becoming District Governor in 2008/09.
He also recognized John Sanderson for his work in introducing new members to Rotary and being named as Brampton's citizen of the year.
Syd talked about determining what needs to be done and delivering on it and Rotary being a vehicle to demonstrate our personal efficiency and how it encourages members to be inclusive and to be enthused about their Rotary work.
