On July 28, the Rotary Club of Brampton, led by President Amolak Dhindsa, paid a visit to the Brampton Fire Department, BFD, to formally present a Recognition Medal for their efforts as Frontline workers during this unprecedented pandemic. Fire Chief Bill Boyes was on hand to receive the Medal.
Brampton Fire and Emergency Services provides fire protection, technical rescue services, hazardous materials response, and first responder emergency medical assistance to the City of Brampton in the Peel Region of Ontario, Canada.

The BFD ensured we didn't leave empty-handed as they also presented us with badges and special coins!

As our contribution towards the Brampton community, especially over the last 15 months, we (Rotary Club of Brampton) have supported the William Osler Hospital Systems and local food banks with funds, groceries, PPE and volunteer hours.

This is the second of such a recognition, after we also presented a recognition to the Peel Regional Police.
