A Special General Meeting (SGM) has been called for Wednesday April 22nd at noon. Log in info and # will come later.
The agenda and purpose of the meeting will be to get your support and input on one issue that came out of your direction at our weekly Zoom meeting last Monday. At the latter meeting you made a recommendation to the Board of Directors to make a six figure donation to the William Osler Hospital System in support of their current and urgent response to the state of emergency.
The Board has met and had a full discussion on our club's generous intent to support the community and debated and modified and enhanced the original recommendation from the membership. The following motion was made at last week's Board meeting that we believe balances our support for both local and international pandemic initiatives and also balances the desire to support large and small local charitable entities.
The motion for you to consider on the 22nd is as follows:

- $50,000 donation to William Osler Hospital System for PPE (personal protective equipment) and related COVID-19 equipment
- $30,000 to Regeneration Outreach
- $20,000 to support R.I. COVID-19 international relief.
In addition the RC of Brampton recommits to the 5th $100,000 installment of our club’s 5 year $500,000 pledge to the WOHS Foundation.
