Marilyn Raphael
Marilyn Raphael is the Ontario Liberal Candidate for Brampton South in the next provincial election.
An accomplished leader, Marilyn has a passion for people and advancing public interest issues. She has over 15 years of experience working in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors in Ontario and is currently a Vice President, Business & Product Governance at TD Asset Management.
Together with her husband, she is also the co-founder of ICON Talent Partners, a not-for-profit talent development organization for high potential BIPOC talent that is focused on closing the opportunity gap and diversifying leadership teams at some of Canada’s largest companies.
For the last 10 years, Marilyn has called Brampton her home and has been committed to advancing
various public interest issues including, child and maternal health, youth development and employment,
healthcare and police reform. In 2019, Marilyn was recognized by the Brampton Board of Trade as a
recipient of Brampton's Top 40 Under 40 Award.
Marilyn holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) from McMaster University, a Master of Public Health (MPH)
from the University of Toronto and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Schulich School
of Business at York University.
Marilyn is happily married to Derrick and they are proud parents to their sons Harper and Preston.
