Shoe factory underway

Rotarian Denis Stephenson received this correspondence from Tbilisi regarding our club's contribution to the start up of a shoe-making workshop.
Dear Denis,
I am writing to you to let you know that the Shoe Making Workshop is now finished and we are starting training next week.
It has cost rather more than I first anticipated as there were several alterations to the original specifications such as provision of a toilet and working facilities. Also 2 steel doors, one onto the street and bars to guard the window, for security.
More Raw Materials will be required before the workshop is fully sustainable.
We will be training the young people for the first 2 months, and then making shoes for the "Back to School" rush September/October.
This is why we need a good stock of Raw Materials in July/August.
For your information the final figures are:
Total budgeted costs are $2,610 but actual costs are $5095.
I hope this will be of interest to you and the members of the Brampton Rotary Club, who so generously supported the Georgian Social Relief Fund in this Project.
